“I am writing in regards to a recent move we made using Starving Students. I like to use family owned businesses, and do believe this company was founded originally by two young entrepreneurial individuals. When I receive extremely good service, I like to report it so that they can recognize the individuals responsible for a good review; instead of only receiving news from a customer with complaints.

Our move from Arcadia to Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday, Dec. 10th went off without incident. The two movers, young Sam and older Mario, proved to be very considerate, efficient and hard working. Sam was even running at some points just to get the job done in an expedient manner. Sam also took responsibility and the utmost care in moving our TWO grandfather clocks that were our prized possessions.

We greatly thank Sam and Mario and would recommend Starving Students to anyone considering a move."

I'm mildly disabled and was concerned how I was going to handle the move. While I'm 95% self sufficient, I do need the extra help on occasion (and believe me when I say I hate asking for it!). I tried to have everything done when the guys came. Honestly, I think I made it to easy! LOL From the very beginning (from the time I set up the move until I was in my new apartment), I felt Starving Students and the movers went far & beyond the call of duty to handle my every need and concern. The guys [Rudy & Kevin] even took the time to help rearrange the bedroom furniture to best suit the room because there was no way I could have done it myself. I was very, very pleased (and grateful) for going with Starving Students!

Both movers were very friendly and quite helpful. They had a hard move since we had 2 sets of stairs to move furniture. I was totally amazed with the integrity of the two movers. One of our items was left in the truck, mixed among their moving supplies. I thought about calling the company to ask if they had located my item, but figured it would have been discarded. A few days later, the movers brought my item to my house on their own accord. The average person would have thrown it away - but these guys were nice enough to bring it back. I am totally impressed. When I move again, I will definitely call Starving Students - I hope these two guys [David and Paul] still work for the company; I will definitely request their services!! Thank You!!

Our guys were amazing. They showed up on time, ready to work. The guys immediately got down to business and began getting the huge number of book boxes out to the truck. I am a book collector and we had about 100 boxes just of books. One of the guys sang while he worked, occasionally stopping to tell me a joke and make me laugh. He was a really nice guy and had a fabulous attitude toward the job itself as well. All of the guys had that attitude where they gave their all to the job to try and get it done under the amount of time on the estimate rather than going slow and taking all day. One of the guys, my singer from Georgia, was honestly running with his empty hand truck from the elevator into our apartment, loading the truck with five boxes of books, then running with the full truck back to the elevator to unload. Over and over, he ran the circuit. You don't see that every day. Once they had the boxes loaded it took them less than two hours to load all the furniture in the house and get on the road. Upon arriving at the new place they got everything out of the truck and into the new place in about an hour total, even managing to put all the furniture where it belonged in each room so we wouldn't have to deal with moving bookcases around later on.

Sean and Josh arrived on time - early actually, which was great! We discussed what the needs were and the terms and then they jumped right to work. They were very pleasant, helpful and quick. they were fantastic and helped me reassemble a couple of furniture items that they didn't really have to and they were very nice despite the fact it was 9000 degrees that day and I was moving to the 3rd floor of my place. The 2 gentlemen who moved my mother's things were: Darrell and Clarence. They were exceptionally polite to my mother who is elderly and a little confused. she kept asking them questions, and even though we had answered them before, they kindly answered them again. We were moving my mother into an assisted living facility and so it was a very emotional day. I really appreciated their sensativity to our situation.

This is the second move I have made with your company. I had such a good experience the first time that I didn't check anywhere else for the current move before calling to reserve. I recommended the company to friends, a married couple, recently and they used the company as well. I will never use another moving company.

The movers were extremely nice and pleasant. They were fast in moving my things, taking apart and reassembling my bedframe, and moving several very heavy objects. I would use starving students movers again.

The intial call made was very positive and the salesperson had a lot of energy and it made me feel really comfortable and certain that I had chosen the best company. What really sold me was that you only had a guarantee of 2 hours and then the rates went by the minutes. It was very affordable and we were very pleased.

the two guys who moved me on 6/24/08 were excellent...give them a raise! and take them to Mortons Steakhouse here in vegas for dinner!!!
