Movers were very personable and willing to answer my questions. If I was concerned about a certain box they even tried to make sure it was on the truck and locate it if within reason. I was very happy with the service.

I'm mildly disabled and was concerned how I was going to handle the move. While I'm 95% self sufficient, I do need the extra help on occasion (and believe me when I say I hate asking for it!). I tried to have everything done when the guys came. Honestly, I think I made it to easy! LOL From the very beginning (from the time I set up the move until I was in my new apartment), I felt Starving Students and the movers went far & beyond the call of duty to handle my every need and concern. The guys [Rudy & Kevin] even took the time to help rearrange the bedroom furniture to best suit the room because there was no way I could have done it myself. I was very, very pleased (and grateful) for going with Starving Students!

Both movers were very friendly and quite helpful. They had a hard move since we had 2 sets of stairs to move furniture. They were respectful of the furniture and took care to wrap carefully needed items. By the end of the move, we felt like "family" I would recommend Eric and his co worker to anyone who needs a move.

I loved Benjamin's positive attitude -- not easy to move about 40 boxes of books into a 2-story apartment! Both movers were very careful and helpful. I would certainly choose your company again -- but I HOPE I won't be moving soon! :-)

I was totally amazed with the integrity of the two movers. One of our items was left in the truck, mixed among their moving supplies. I thought about calling the company to ask if they had located my item, but figured it would have been discarded. A few days later, the movers brought my item to my house on their own accord. The average person would have thrown it away - but these guys were nice enough to bring it back. I am totally impressed. When I move again, I will definitely call Starving Students - I hope these two guys [David and Paul] still work for the company; I will definitely request their services!! Thank You!!

Starving Students Moving Company Reviews

Our guys were amazing. They showed up on time, ready to work. The guys immediately got down to business and began getting the huge number of book boxes out to the truck. I am a book collector and we had about 100 boxes just of books. One of the guys sang while he worked, occasionally stopping to tell me a joke and make me laugh. He was a really nice guy and had a fabulous attitude toward the job itself as well. All of the guys had that attitude where they gave their all to the job to try and get it done under the amount of time on the estimate rather than going slow and taking all day. One of the guys, my singer from Georgia, was honestly running with his empty hand truck from the elevator into our apartment, loading the truck with five boxes of books, then running with the full truck back to the elevator to unload. Over and over, he ran the circuit. You don't see that every day. Once they had the boxes loaded it took them less than two hours to load all the furniture in the house and get on the road. Upon arriving at the new place they got everything out of the truck and into the new place in about an hour total, even managing to put all the furniture where it belonged in each room so we wouldn't have to deal with moving bookcases around later on.

The guys were great. They came in and took everything, if we didn't have it packed yet they packed it. They were friendly and courteous. They worked fast and efficiently. All of our stuff arrived in great condition, nothing was broken or marred. I will definitely use Starving Students if I move again.

I have used this company two times and have been very satisfied on both occasions. The movers are always polite and seem to know what they are doing. Even going up a flight of stairs with heavy furniture did not change their demeanor. They are also very fast at what they do. Certainly will use them again in the future if I have the need.

I would recommend Starving Students anyone! Also, with all the add ons I had, my move was still less costly than my kids, who were moved by another company! I hope your company treats the movers to an occasional massage, because they deserve it! They work very hard and so efficiently. This is the first moving experience that was pleasant! The 3 men that came to move my home were fast friendly and very careful with all my furniture and home. They worked fast and took min. of breaks. Even with the down pore of rain they kept working with good attitudes and focus. I would use again if this was a sample of what type of people you have working for your company. Great guys!!

The movers showed up early in the afternoon and after giving me a quick rundown on how they were going to accomplish the move, they got to work. They worked diligently and wrapped everything up well short of the expected time. After all is said and done, this was a really good move for me. I would recommend their services to anyone needing a moving company and i would use their services again should I need to do so.

The two young men that moved me could not have been better. They worked very hard, fast and efficiently. They were VERY respectful and VERY, VERY good movers. Nothing was scratched or broken. They were both VERY,VERY professional.
