Hi my name is Linda D., I just had two of your Starving Students movers move me today at 5/31...today is Thursday. I have seriously moved 10 times in the past 12 years and I’ve never had such efficient movers and I’ve actually used your service before. These guys were just on fire. Moving stuff around exactly the way I wanted everything moved. Stacked everything perfectly. I had two stops to make. They were so so quick...I was running on a budget and they knew it and they got everything done. And they were super, they were funny. Things weren’t going quite smoothly for me, I don’t know...they were just making it a really good experience. I’m not really one to call to complain or to praise any services but I felt this one was warranted definitely this time. I can’t remember the two guys names but if want to give me a call back I just want to make sure it has been noted that they did an exceptional job for me. Thanks bye.

I just wanted to drop you a line about the great move we had on 5/18/07 with two of your Starving Students movers. They were prompt and so courteous! Adrian and Richard worked from the moment they rang the doorbell at our old house til the last box was taken off the truck and put down at our new home. We appreciated their professionalism and would highly recommend Starving Students again - especially Adrian and Richard!!

Thanks Again,

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to express my appreciation for the exceptional service provided to me by Levi S., Marty P., and Guillermo R. during my move from Burbank to Sherman Oaks on May 22, 2007.

I have used several professional movers over the last 25 years, and this experience made me want to take the time to convey how impressed I was with all three of these people. Each one of them made a significant contribution to making sure a difficult situation resulted in success.

Levi S. clearly understood and accepted his responsibility to me as a customer and to your company as his employer. It was very evident that he wanted to make sure everything was handled properly, professionally, and safely. He had great attention to detail, and was very effective in communicating with his helpers. I was impressed with his integrity and his personal investment in the outcome.

Marty P. was very helpful and personable, even under stress. At one point, it appeared to all present, including myself and my friend who was helping out that my large couch would not make it past a certain turn where a stairwell met a hall. We all agonized about how to get the couch in and were in agreement that the mission needed to be aborted short of throwing cables over the railing down to the courtyard far below. However, Marty did not give up and was able to engineer a solution that resulted in me having my couch and the building remain intact. It is this kind of persistence, attitude and problem-solving that makes someone an indispensable asset to all.

Guillermo R. was equally impressive. His work ethic was astounding. He even cut his lunch short to get back to work. His efforts were tireless and efficient. He too solved a major issue when my large bed needed to be disassembled in order to transport it. He did an excellent job without any visible frustration. Throughout the move, his positive attitude and good nature made it a pleasant experience.

I told all three of these guys that I have no idea how anyone can do this kind of work day in and day out. I could barely stand doing this once every ten years! People like this deserve the utmost respect because theirs is often a thankless task when in fact their services are some of the most important in our society.

I can’t thank these gentlemen enough for making a very difficult transition in my life, at a time when I have been very ill, pleasant and successful. I know customers rarely hold back when they are dissatisfied – I hope that these workers get all the praise and compensation they deserve. They are the face and backbone of your organization.

Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness and excellence in employing competent, personable and trustworthy individuals.

All the best,
Susan D.

Hi this is Sonya W. from Henson Valley Montessori School you had a crew come out from Clinton to do a move for us. I was calling to say I was very pleased with their services. They were very polite. They got the job done. Because of that I think, we’re going to try to use you two all again. I wanted to say the three guys that were out there I think their name was Gary, Andrea and one other guy out of the Clinton office. They did an excellent excellent job. I wanted to call and share that. Thank you. Bye-Bye.

I wanted to express my thanks for and satisfaction with the excellent service that I have received through two of your employees, Anthony E. and Evita V.

To be specific: one year ago I called Starving Students to arrange a move from Eureka, California to Anacortes, Washington. I chose Starving Students because of my satisfaction with the first move by your company five years ago. Anthony E. answered the phone and I began initial arrangements to move based on a potential sale of my property. However, the offer fell through, but I kept Anthony’s phone number/extension because I was so impressed with his professional, kind and thorough approach. When we received an offer one year later, I called Anthony, and once again I was extremely impressed with his service.

Since I had no concept of the size of trucks you use relative to our narrow road, I discovered a couple of weeks after I signed a contract that I would need a shuttle. Now I became nervous because we were coming closer to the date. I called Anthony, and, as usual he assured me that it would be no problem, and put me in touch with Evita V. In a reassuring and courteous manner, she explained the shuttle process and worked out costs, places to transfer our items from the small truck to the large truck, and other details associated with this more complex move.

As a retired director of public relations for a large company, I have become extremely sensitive over the years to the way that customers are treated. As you well know, it makes a huge positive difference in overall satisfaction. In my view, Anthony E. and Evita V. set a very high standard in this regard. Also, I congratulate you for choosing such high quality employees.

I thank you again for this excellent service that I have received and I look forward to the completion of this move with the same level of service and satisfaction.

Sincerely,
Bob D.
